Taking life

one day at a time. President Monson spoke to the young women of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints last Saturday. I have been listening to his talk at my computer and there is one part in particular spoke to me.

“I have spoken over the years with many individuals who have told me, ‘I have so many problems, such real concerns. I am overwhelmed with the challenges of life. What can I do?’ I have offered to them, and I now offer to you this specific suggestion. Seek heavenly guidance one day at a time. 'Life by the yard is hard; by the inch it’s a cinch.' Each of us can be true for just one day and then one more and then one more after that until we lived a lifetime guided by the spirit, a lifetime close to the Lord, a lifetime of good deeds and righteousness.”

In my own life I often become overwhelmed when I think too far ahead. For me, taking it a minute, an hour, or a day at a time really helps. I made a quote card with the proverb President Monson quoted and wanted to share it.

I used Samantha Walker's {A to Z Mega Pack} to create this quote card.

The Bright Side

It's been a while since I posted a quote, so here it is!

I took this photo last fall driving down the canyon and thought it would work well with the quote. In the future I hope to post a quote a week--we'll see what life allows me to do!
